Evelyn was a volunteer at the White House where I worked during the Bush years. She was dedicated to the job & very patriotic. Everybody adored her. She recommended that I purchase my very first tuxedo & sure enough I wore it often because she graciously invited me to many parties. I'll never forget her & her wonderful family. Enjoy Heaven Evelyn

Evelyn was an inspiration to many of us because of her strength.
She had considerable health challenges in the past few years, yet, she would dismiss them and say as long as she was vertical, she was doing fine. I volunteered with Evelyn at the White House, where she was truly valued for her service. Evelyn always brought a smile to us after a conversation with her. She gave us the gift of joy, friendship and the inspiration to always keep going, no matter the challenges life presents to you. We will miss you Evelyn.
