Well I made it to 60 Mama and I miss celebrating with you and Daddy! I am going to eat cake but it wont be the chocolate with boiled icing you always made me growing up. Its now 5 years without you! On this day 5 years ago I lost my Mother and all the family times that we enjoyed together. It is very painful still. I love and miss you very much today and everyday. Mother, truly the joy of your presence in our lives will comfort us until we are reunited, as you have been with our loved ones gone before. Gone is the face we loved so dear, silent is the voice we loved to hear. Too far away for sight or speech, but not too far for thought to reach. Remembering you on this day and everyday. If roses grow in heaven, lord pick a bunch for me, place them in my mother's arms and tell her they're from me, tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile because remembering her is easy, I do it everyday. There's an ache in my heart that will never go away.

Happy New Year in Heaven, its been 4 years now without you to celebrate with. Sure miss that. It was nice to have Bill over with the kids to celebrate with. Thanksgiving came and went and so did Christmas. We made it through. Now its 2007 and we are celebrating Missi's birthday without you and Jerry's birthday without you and Janine just turned a double digit and you were missed. Its not getting easier. Its not. Soon we will have to remember that awful day a year ago when we had to let you go and the silence of your voice and the gift of your love is so missing in our lives.
But we have to remember and to know that our Mother is always with us... She's the whisper of the leaves as we walk down the street. She's the smell of bleach in our freshly laundered socks, she's the cool hand on our brow when we are not well. Our Mother lives inside us in laughter & she's crystallized in every tear drop. She's the place we came from, our first home; and she's the map we follow with every step we take. She's our first love & our first heartbreak, and nothing on earth can separate us. Not time, not space... not even death!
I miss you more today than yesterday. I miss you so much.

04/23/53 It's my birthday Mommy and I dont have my birthmother. It was another celebration that you weren't here to enjoy. Its kind of hard to enjoy celebrating without you anyway. I missed you today. I miss you everyday but today you were on my mind a bunch. I got out one of my old birthday cards that said Happy Birthday Love "Mom & Dad" on it and put it on the table. I know we are going to have lots of these days the family will but today especially for me it was sad because you gave birth to me in TGH and I helped you leave there on the wings of angels. First of all I would like to send my deepest sympathy to all the family. The way I found out is that Pam found my mother's obituary and signed her guest book. There is no words that can be wrote to express the loss that you all are feeling. The only thing I would like to express is that I had the privilege of knowing the family as I was growing up. I found out want it meant to have a big family and the joy it gave me that they let me become a small part of it, I bet Evelyn and Sonny wishes they could have wrote me off on there income taxes.
As I was growing up someone took me under his wing, David, and my thoughts are with you. You were very understanding with me and for that and everything else you had done for me I will never forget, I promise.
It's funny in times like these we start remembering all the past memories that everyone shared, good and not so good, but if it can bring a smile or a laugh to everyone's face it was worth it.
Finally I would like to say,"Thank You", for knowing some of the different generations of the Stoll Family and it looks like there is a lot more out there to carry on the memories.
Evelyn you will be missed by many.

Its almost Easter mom and we all will be without you for the first time in our lives. We just can't believe it still that you wont be here to make your wonderful dinners. I am making the squash that you always made and we are having ham but it wont be the same without you here. Daddy tells me everyday how much he loved you and how very much he misses you. Sonny, Missi, Pammy and everyone---
I don't know where to start, it makes me so sad. I have loved your family like my own, and been treated like "one of the bunch" since I was a kid. Everytime I walk into "Evelyn's" house, all the memories come flooding back. She was a second mother, a friend and a support. Everyone at the store will always remember her Christmas cookies-- food to some...a gesture of her sweet and selfless nature to me. Evelyn, I hope somewhere you can feel the love from all your friends and family and hear the words we were thinking, but forgot to say when you were still here with us.

3 weeks ago on a Saturday (2/11), you gave me some aloe vera plants & flower bulbs to plant in the flower garden I am planning in the front of our new home, which will now be known as Evelyn's Garden in honor of your memory. Each & every time these flowers bloom, your inner beauty & lively spirit will be there beaming as you were in life and in each of our lives respectively. And now 3 weeks later on a Saturday 2/25 you were suddenly called home to be with our Lord. It is extremely hard & difficult for me to understand, accept or comprehend your passing.
As we all mourn your untimely & unexpected passing, let us all, family & friends, rejoice in the good times that our heavenly Father let us have you here on Earth, to share you within our lives.
I will always cherish & hold dear and onto the many, special & fond memories of you,within a special place in my heart & soul. (Square Dance camping trips & picnics at Lowery Park, Fishing trips & good ole Southern Fish Fry's with your parents, Disney World, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Birthday's, your infectious laughter, etc.)
35 year ago, you & Dad both graciously took in 3 more young childern into your home along with your own 3 childern. This singular gesture alone says everything about who you and your husband are as human beings and a family; loving, kind, caring and compassionate. You taught me so much about life, yet there is still so much more to have learned from you, and now you will not be there to guide and direct me or the rest of us. I will always be eternally grateful to you, Dad and your childern for taking us into your home.
Uncle Sonny misses you so very, very, much, as we all do.
I always thought & believed there would be more time to show through my actions & to say "THANK YOU" & "I LOVE YOU"!
I have lost my mother again for a second time. The difference here is, you were the only mother I really knew.
