Evelyn Virginia Walsh

From out of your long ago past--Dominion Hills--Ashlawn Days--our family would like you to know how very sorry we were to learn of Evelyn's death. My husband and I would visit with her occasionally down through the years after Mass at St Agnes. There she proudly updated us on Michael's globetrotting, her children's adventures, the cottage on Martha's Vineyard(/), and for a time on how her mother-in-law was surviving the travails of Cherrydale Rehab.

Such a real and down to earth person with a wide wonderful smile, and delicious sense of humor, we always felt uplifted after chatting with her. Her specialness was obvious to anyone who came into contact with her.

It has been some time since we last saw her, and we were shocked to learn of her death in the church bulletin. We had been in New York for a couple of weeks and were unaware of it until the services were over. We did want you to know that we are praying for all of you and hoping that in recalling the happy times you shared her love and laughter, her support and her pride in you will draw your family closer to each other and enrich your memories of her.
