BURT Ezria "Babe" Ezria "Babe" Burt, age 79, of Toledo, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at The Toledo Hospital. He was born May 26, 1927, in Fulton, MS to Bob (Daisy Jones) Burt. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of St. Paul's Baptist Church. He retired from Kopper (Interlake Iron) and enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and Cleveland Indians baseball. Survived by his loving wife, Annie (Gray) Burt; sons, Ezria "Keith" (Triquita "Kita") Burt of Lansing, MI and Eric (Shannon) Burt of Toledo; daughters, Deborah, Denise, Tammie and Wendy Burt all of Toledo and Kimberly (Eric) Ellis of Toledo; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grand-children; brother, Ben (Eva Jean) Burt; sisters, Flora Rogers, Johnnie Mae Dittman and Emma (Ray) Perry and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111). Services will be held on Wednesday at Noon, preceded by the wake at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home, Pastor Eugene Rocker, officiating. Burial, Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
