F. David Campbell, (92 years of age) a long-time resident of Syracuse, Skaneateles, and Brooklyn Heights and Point Lookout, NY passed quietly away in the presence of his wife, Bridget Farrell and their son, Seamus Campbell, on January 25, 2025 after a long illness. David was a graduate of St. Lawrence University. After graduation, David worked in finance at GMAC, Marine-Midland and retired after many years of service from Key Bank, NA., as a senior vice-president. He was an active sailor, skier and golfer well into his eighth decade of life. David is also survived by children Stephen Campbell, Susan Schwarz, Bennett Campbell, sister Kathryn Campbell, as well as seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Family will receive visitors at 9:30 a.m. on 2/3/2025 at Church of Assumption B.V.M. at 55 Cranberry St., Brooklyn Heights to be followed by funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Internment immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Church of the Assumption B.V.M. or St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY.

Bridget and Seamus,
My sincerest condolences to you on the death of David. I hope the happy memories of a great husband and father help you both this time of grief.

Bridget, I have always remembered your beautiful wedding day and the joy of your meeting David and becoming Seamus“ mother brought to you.
