F. Simcox Obituary
Mr. Simcox was president and owner of Hutton Electric Company Inc., an electrical contractor founded by his great-grandfather and headquartered in Bristol Tennessee. He was a graduate of the John S. Battle High School, a graduate of the Virginia Electrical Apprenticeship Program and a member of Fellowship Chapel in Bristol Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alger L. Simcox.
He is survived by his one son, Allen Kyle Simcox; one daughter, Ellen Michelle Simcox; his mother, Bell Tillison and her husband Kenneth, of Bristol Virginia; sisters, Hope Brown of West Virginia, Faith Bowers of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and Joan Bunch of Bristol Tennessee; brothers, Tony Tillison of Fishersville, Va., and Russ Tillison of Bluff City; uncles, Harmon Simcox of Bristol Tennessee, Jerry Simcox of Phoenix and Bill Rush of Blue Ridge, Ga.; the mother of his children, Lisa Michelle Simcox of Bristol Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, 630 Locust St., Bristol, Tenn. The funeral will be held immediately following visitation, with the Rev. Scott Price officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mountain View Mausoleum Chapel on East Valley Drive, Bristol Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Jim Brown, Johnny Bunch, Billy Inman, Joe Kite, Dustin Minnick, Charlie Phelps, Eric Pruitt and Jim Smith.
Flowers are welcome or, alternatively, the family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 208 Sunset Drive No. 521, Johnson City, TN 37604.
Friends may call at the home of Bell and Kenneth Tillson, 13478 Cozy Lane, Bristol, Va. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.

Ms. Belle, Faith and Hope,
I just learned of Allen's passing this past weekend. I must say that it was truly a shock to me. Though I haven't seen Allen in years, I certainly remember the good times of growing up in the High Point area, through elementary and high school. My sympathy certainly goes out to each family member, as I know that he will be MISSED. But as always comfort will come, by the way of the Good Lord. Miss Belle, I was so struck with sadness on hearing of Allens death.
However, my mind started to wander back to the days of Allen, Wade, and "Smitty" and all the good times they had together. How they would all come to my house and be right at home and all the times we spent with you and Kenneth for ball games and wrestling.
