Faith was a wonderful person for whom truth and justice were overriding principles. I had the privilege of visiting her in Watlington all too long ago but the introductions she gave me to people in Nicaragua, including the English Catholic priest John Medcalf, shaped my journeying and journalising in that country. Rest in the peace you so abundantly deserve, dear Faith.

Beautiful person who taught me more than all the other teachers put together! Condolences to her family.

Faith taught me and, I think it is fair to say, changed my life in that from scrapping through English Literature 'O' Level I then went on to study it at university. This would have happened without Faith. She also entertained groups of students to supper at her house to give us a chance to further discuss and explore the books we were studying. Such was her generosity with her time and knowledge. I also very fondly remember her organising a pretty informal trip for her students away to West Wales after our exams. A wonderful, kind and inspiring lady.
