My sincere condolences to all his Family and friends. I have a lot of admiration for Father Leddy. He presented the word of God straight from the Bible.

I just learned of Fr. Leddy's passing this morning at Mass, and it took me quite by surprise. Fr. Leddy roamed the halls of Reicher High School in Waco in the mid- to late-60's giving guidance to a bunch of barely disciplined teenagers. He was not much older than we, but to me. . . he was Christ-walking-the-halls and the Father-guarding-our-souls. I hope he still will see fit to be my symbol of Christ and Father in his heavenly home. God bless you, Fr. Leddy.

God speed, Fr. Leddy.
I recall serving as Altar boy at many Masses with him at ST Mary's in Waco

Father Leddy was a great priest whom I respected very much. He spoke the truth and was very upfront and honest. I admired him so much for his dedication to the church family and serving God Our Father. I'll always remember his chuckle when he laughed and his nice Irish accent. Father Leddy will always have a special place in my heart.
