She is lovingly remembered by her son: Brandon (Linda) Ellis, of Creedmoor; daughters: Brittany (Tony) Smith and Crystal (Russell) Wilson; siblings: Jackie (Larry) Halls, of Bracey, VA , Robert (Deborah) Cassell, of Raleigh, Alan (Jenna) Cassell, of Cary and Hershell (Donna) Cassell, Jr., of Castalia; grandchildren, Wyatt (9) Noelle (4) and Landon (3), and, by inheritance, Angel (19) and Jordan (13); and other family and friends.

A Celebration of Fay's Life will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11 AM at Calvary Chapel Cary, officiated by her dear friend, Pastor Robert Finch. Graveside Services will follow at 2 PM at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery – 4582 US Hwy 401N – Louisburg, NC.

Fay was an amazing person, a wonderful mother, and great friend to those who knew her. I knew her as a colleague at both Nash Health Care and UNC Health Care, but as a dear friend first and most importantly. She is missed every day. I think about her three children, who were also family friends. My thoughts are with them; Crystal, Brittany, and Brandon.

I have no words to describe the loss of this Angel on Earth. She was an amazing colleague, loved by all who worked with her and adored by every patient and family she took care of. She was the bright light in every room and I always told her she was one of "Christ's Soldiers here on Earth!" My friend, how you will be missed. Christine Khandelwal

I was blessed to experience Israel with Ms. Fay - without her, my experience would have been much different. I ended up getting sick in the beginning of the trip and she nursed me back to health so I didn't miss a beat. I will never forget her unending care. Every morning she would find me at breakfast to make sure I was feeling better. I will be forever grateful. I'm so sorry for the loss, but blessed God allowed me to spend 10 days getting to know such an amazing woman. Heaven had a party when she returned home.

I never knew her personally. Howver, I can remember her smile from Church. She must have been an angel who God permitted to live with us a short time on earth. Now that she is with our Heavenly Father in Heaven. Those of us who are left behind must take up the mantle for Jesus so that we can let our light so shine before men on earth, so that people can see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven. Fay was a strong woman of God right up to the end. Her smile and caring spirit will be missed, but we should not mourn for her. She is right where she wanted to be...with her Jesus. Love to the family.

Fay, not only were you a great mother and grandmother, your were a wonderful woman of God who loved to love people. Almost every time our paths crossed you would stop give me the best smile and hug! You always had a kind word and you truly manifested the love of Christ with whom ever came in contact with you. You will truly be missed, but so happy that you are no longer in pain and that you are with our Lord, whom you loved more than anything. So thankful to know you had an abundant entry. "Well done faithful servant." We love and miss you!!! Til we meet again in the presence of our Lord....

I am the pastor of Fay for 12 years here at Calvary Chapel Cary. I will certainly miss Fay, she was a spiriual aunt if you will. She was my 3rd service encourager. You see, we have 3 Sunday morning services and after the 2nd service, I'm usually pretty exhausted and without fail the Lord would allow me to run into Ms. Fay who would say: "Pastor Rodney keep on running, your helping a lot of people know Jesus, God is with you. You go up there and "Give em Jesus". That was my B-12 just what I needed to finish the race that day. I've asked the Lord...Lord who will be my B-12 now, I do realize with the HS all things are possible and His grace is sufficient although it's nice to have my Aunt in the audience cheering/praying me forward. I LOVE YOU MS Fay and I wiil sorely miss you. So I won't say goodbye I'll say "See you again" on the other side

Fay's arms were wide open yesterday to be welcomed into the kingdom of heaven and to receive her crown of glory from our Father. I see her smiling face dancing around in glory with my precious sister, her precious friend, Rita. They are set free to enjoy an endless celebration as they await the arrival of their family and friends through the mercy of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We are grateful for the time we were granted with her and the blessings she brought to our lives through the years. Much love and hugs to all of the family. May the inspiration we have all received from her life lead us to also be better servants for The Master Of All Of The Universe.
