Faye Marie Cornish

In loving memory of CORNISH (SWAIN) _ Faye Marie (nee Jackson) Passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Westside Care Centre in Westbank B.C. at the age of 74. Predeceased by her 1st husband George Swain in 1989 and her 2nd husband Richard Cornish in 2005. She is lovingly remembered by her children Skip Swain of Vancouver B.C., Kathy Down (David) of Westbank B.C., Karen Ferguson (John) of Oshawa Ontario and 4 grandchildren Amanda, Carl, Hayley and Colin along with her extended family Beth Phillips (Rick), Rick Cornish, Herb Cornish (Vicki), Rev. Margaret Cornish, Diane Bleasby (Ron Legate), and 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends. Faye was born in Abbey Saskatchewan on April 12, 1932. Faye enjoyed travel, camping, road trips, golf, bowling, crosswords, and cherished her time with family and friends. She was always understanding, easy to get to know, never lost her sense of humor and enjoyed slapping her knee after a good joke. A special thank you to the staff of Westside Care Centre. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 10th at 11:00 am at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley, B.C. In lieu of flowers, a gift in memory of Faye can be made to the Parkinson's Society of B.C or Alzheimer's Society of B.C.
