Tita, apart from your genuine smile and energetic nature, the one thing that I will never forget is your kindness and compassion. Over fifteen years have passed since you first welcomed me into your home. And although we were simply friends of Jeffrey and Joneil, you've always cared for me, Adrian, David, and PJ as if we were your own sons as well. You made your home feel like it was our home as well. During the time in my life when I was sad and alone, you wrote to me and gave me encouragement and inspiration. You helped me to believe that I still had a bright future ahead of me. Tita, you will never be forgotten because the same kindness and compassion you've shown me time and time again, I see in your two boys. Your influence has helped them to grow into two men that you can be proud of. Thank you for all that you have done for me and for your family and friends. Rest peacefully Tita. Until we meet again.

It was my first time to meet Tita (Aunt) Citas here in the Philippines last year when she came home for a vacation. For 2 weeks I became her constant companion, sharing a hefty lunch of crabs and shrimp with rice. She always ate with gusto. She had lots of stories about their ancestral house that I live in together with my in-laws and I found her and her stories and anecdotes really funny. She was never bored, she was always up to something. I remember she would ask me to go shopping with her so she could buy presents for her grandchildren Sophie and Jet Boy. She was such fun to be with. Here in the Philippines, she will surely and sorely be missed, and I'm sure her family will too. You are in a restful place now Tita Citas, rest well, you are always remembered here.

Auntie, you truly were amazing with not just me, but my little family. You made my boys laugh, and always had a genuine smile. I will never forget you, the way you loved taking pictures, the way you made the best food, the way you welcomed my family to your house... we will always love and remember you. God has gained a beautiful angel.

My deepest condolences to the Torres and Pioquinto families. Tita Citas always made me feel welcome in her home and I'll remember her most for her humor. Especially the way she would say "Aaaaaaaww maaan" when she'd fine us laying around playing video games or sleeping in when she knew we had practice. Thanks for raising such good sons (my brothers from another mother), and also for all the buffet hookups! Rest well. You'll never be forgotten.

Tita Citas, you loved and trusted in the Lord and your life revolved around trying to be a good daughter to Him. I know He is pleased with you and the spiritual life you led, and the wonderful earthlyl ife you led. You raised really good boys and made the world a better place just by being you. Thank you for your generosity with your faith and with your life, for everything you have done for us, for always sending me Sacred Heart and other religious matter, for the old family stories you shared that make me appreciate our family more, for being such a great Tita - always sharing real-world wisdom. I miss hearing your voice at the end of the phone line. I love you and you will forever be in my heart.

Still surreal that you're gone. I'll always remember you laughing at us whenever we would play Street Fighter, because the loser would always act like a crybaby. And now, whenever I hear Final Fantasy, I'll always think of you. Rest in peace Auntie Citas, love and miss you.

I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news of your passing away. In you, I will surely miss a friend who is godly, thoughtful, charming, jolly, and funny to be with. Your hearty laughter was contagious. You were really a friend in the truest sense of the word. My family and I will truly miss your friendship; but we are happy that you don't feel pain anymore, that you are now with our dear Lord.
To the Torres & Pioquinto families, we share in your sorrow for the loss of dear Citas. We will keep you in our prayers. May God bless you all.
