Dear Aunt Pat,
Our deepest sorrow goes out to you. You and Uncle Fred have touched our lives so deeply and will forever remain in our hearts. We pray your health will get better very soon. We know this is a tough time for you and want you to know we are here for you and will continue to pray for you to get through this tough time and get back on your feet. Thank you both for being there for Nicole, Anthony and CJ. You played a great part in their lives and ours. Uncle Fred You will truly be missed, You were like clockwork at Mary's house on Sundays and this will especially be hard to not have you there for all of us, but you will be in our hearts always!!! We love you!!Always Carmen & Linda Cotto

Dear Uncle Fred,
Words cannot express what you mean to our family. I know that you are now in paradise with Nona, my grandfather Tony and other loved ones; this does not stop us from missing you. You played an important role in my most cherished holiday traditions over the past 28 years of my life. Christmas and the fourth of July will never be the same without you. Sunday mornings will never be the same without you. I enjoyed seeing you walk in Mama Fico’s house wearing your shiny black shoes, perfectly ironed shirt, stylish jacket /suit and the darkest, fullest head full of hair I’d ever seen- always combed neatly the same way. Your humor and wit always made me smile, even through difficult times. My two little boys adored you. You always made them smile especially when you’d give them each a dollar to add to their ice cream fund. You did the same for me when I was little only it was my Christmas fund. You and aunt Pat never missed a christening, birthday or graduation whether it was my sons’ or mine. We talked about going to a Yankees game together but we were never blessed with the opportunity. I’ll keep wearing my NY hats and you’ll be in my heart when I finally go to another game. I worry about holidays approaching and the emptiness that will fill my family’s hearts by you not being with us, but I now know what I must do. I must keep your presence alive by mentioning the countless memories that I have had the fortune of sharing with you. I’m so glad that I told you I love you this past Fourth of July.
We all love you! Nicole, Carlos, Anthony & CJ

My Uncle Fred was a great uncle to have, I know all of his neices and nephews feel the same way. I have many good memories of him. He was always fun to be around, you knew that Uncle Fred enjoyed his life. I always looked forward to him and Aunt Pat visiting us in FL.
Uncle Fred had style, when my kids were little, they used to call him "Uncle Money".
We will all miss him.
God bless him.
