Dr. Nagy was my doctor most of my life from my childhood to the day he retired. When anything was ailing me I knew the he had the answer for my health care; I'd go the Victoria Medical building and he'd help keep me healthy. On behalf of the Pickering family, I pass on our deepest condolences to the Nagy family. Rest peace now Dr. Frank Nagy.

Good people strive to make the world a better place. Only the greatest succeed to the level that Frank did. The world is a lesser place without him but remains a better place because of him.

Frank was my Godfather, he had many godchildren.
He was very proud of me when I obtained my medical license as an EMA I for the BCAS.
He was one of many great people that helped me become the man I am today. I strive to help others and be the type of person he showed us he himself was.
I was working with him on his farm one day when he taught me something. Probably the most important lesson in the application of knowledge I’ll ever learn.
I had asked over the years about WWII. He rarely answered such questions but a few things had been told to me.
I asked that day, why he did the things he had. Knowing the consequences to his actions how did he dig deep and do what he had.
Frank stopped working with his birds and looked at me. “You need to understand they could have taken anything away from you. Your children, your wife, your home... but they can’t take your knowledge. The only way to take knowledge from you, well you’d never know anyway and likely be killed.
I chose to use the knowledge I had.”
That simple lesson has caused me to absorb knowledge and apply it. To share that message every time I teach.
I hope in some tiny way I can continue the legacy left by Frank.
My condolences to the entire family and extended family.
