Fern Ferguson Fern Ferguson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Funeral Service will be held at the chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Fern was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Belle Ferguson; brother, Bill; and nieces, Kathy Green and Patti Green. She is lovingly survived by her family, sister, Ruth (Bill) Green, Karen (Barry), Tom, Will (Dena) and families; sister-in-law, Dawn (Art) Dunlap, Lynda (Ron), Rob, Susan, Grant (Holly), Alan (Angie) and families; brother, Bob (Joanne), Trish, Rob (Susan), Katie, Dan, Sarah and families. Fern was born in Canwood, SK and moved to Saskatoon at a young age. She started her life long career at age 17 with the T. E. Eaton Company and retired after 47 years of service. Fern was very active in women's fastball, a life time member of the Cara Amica Club and active with the Eaton's Retirees. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary's Community School, Camp Easter Seal, The Saskatoon Food Bank and the Salvation Army. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
