KARPMAN, Fern (née Vineberg)
Peacefully, with the love of her life by her side, on Friday, August 18, 2017. Fern was the rock, soulmate, and best friend of her husband Ronald Karpman. Loving mother, mother-in- law and stepmother of Stevie Karpman, Casey and Eric Evdosin, Harley Cooper, Erin Karpman, Matthew and Marlee Karpman. Fun, loving and obsessed grandmother (Bucky) of Mia Evdosin. Sister and sister-in- law of Jennifer and John Carley, and Alan Karpman. Cherished daughter of the late Ralph Vineberg and the late Louise Brown, stepdaughter of Marlene Vineberg and daughter-in-law of Samuel and the late Ruth Karpman. Adoring aunt of Lauren and Rowan Carley. Beloved niece of Allan Sykes, Milton and the late Anne Vineberg; and cousin of Gary Vineberg, Reissa Gibbs, and Tony Vineberg. Special thanks to her friends Beth and Larry Hirsch, and Debbie Goldsmith, for giving her and her family comfort every day. A big thank you to Dr. Small and the team at the Peter Brojde Cancer Centre of the Jewish General Hospital, Dr. Liberman and the incredible surgical ward at Notre Dame Hospital, Dr. Chang and his wonderful team at the Palliative Care Unit of the Jewish General Hospital. She will be missed by her family and many dear friends, who surrounded her during this difficult time.
