Dear Mike,
Audie and I are so very sorry that your soulmate, Fern has been called by God to join him. Fern and I talked many times about the spiritual realm and she totally believed that this life on earth wasn't "all there was". I know that Fern has gone on to a better place, but that leaves you here on earth to miss your soulmate and the love of your life, and for this, Mike, we're truly sorry.

I have so many wonderful stories of my time spent with Fern that I can't begin to share them with you here, so I'll hope that you, Audie and I will get together in the New Year and just "hang out" together and share our most precious memories of our beautiful Fern.

We hope you know that our love, our thoughts and our prayers are with you, Mike,

Always,
Lois & Audie Lynds

Mike and family,
there are no words to say how sad and sorry for your loss and also how very sad we are that our friend, nurse, and colleague has left. Fern had the brightest smile, laughter that was contagious, sentimental heart of gold, stubborness nature yet gentle, loved her Timmies and her friends. Walking into your home was very overwelming as it felt like Fern throughout. She will never be forgotten. Mike, you have the support of all her friends. You were her rock and her love for you was solid, she will still be there for you in spirit.

Mike and family,

I am deeply saddened for your loss. I worked with Fern for several years, and knew that she was a fabulous woman. She had a laugh to go along with her great sense of humor - it was hard not to smile when she was smiling. We had lots of wonderful conversations and I will always remember her fondly.

Gain strength from your memories and loved ones.

Mike and Family.....

My sincerest, deepest sympathies over the precious loss of your loved one Fern.

After knowing Fern since grade school and throughout the years, and now, since moving to the Edmonton area, we haven't kept in constant touch, but, we still found time to chat if we would bump into each other.

I remember having some great times when our men were on the Falher Fire Dept. and of course being next door neighbors for a few years.

Fern was a remarkable woman - always thinking of others before herself - especially in the care of her patients and her friends.

Will miss you!
