Flavio PAVONE

Hi Rosa,
It is through serendipity that I found out about Flavio's passing and it is with great shock and sadness that I experienced the news. You have my heartfelt condolences. Flavio, Jimmy, and I spent many nights studying together to get through the engineering exams at university ('83-'87). He was a great guy and took very neat notes in class. I would often ask for his notes if I missed a class. He was a guy that I could count on and was of good character. We lost touch after graduation, but I was glad to learn he made pilot at Air Canada, his passion about flying was always present. You have now earned your eternal wings my friend.

RIP Flavio. Ive no word.

My condoleances to you Miss Pavone and your kids. I am very sad to hear about his passing. I flew with him many times and was very happy to be part of his crew. He was a great Captain, very professional and I loved his sarcastic humour. We will miss him at work and I will miss talking to him about his Italy and my Portugal. We had a lot of conversations about that in the flight deck. He loved his family, flying and Italy so much. I am sending you lots of courage in this dificult time. Flavio, now it's the time to fly to the skies one more time.. This take off will be a beautiful one. You are flying where the angels are and when you meet my dad, give him a big hug for me.
