Dear Renard, Renee and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. It has been a while since I've seen Flo and all of you, but I was real sorry to hear that she has passed. I had a lot of respect for Flo both professionally and personally. My condolences to you and your family.

I first met Flo at that Writers of the Future workshop at Pepperdine in 1988. It was always such a treat to run into her again at conventions, and there should have been time for so much more. So sorry to hear the news.

Renard and Renee --
I had only learned of Flo's diagnosis about 2 weeks ago when I ran into Pete Karlovich and Steve Herforth.. I prayed hard that Flo would receive a healing energy.
I didn't know about her death until a little bit ago. I'm sorry I didn't know sooner so that I could come to the funeral home to pay my respects to you.
I'm saddened by her loss. She was such a class act.
You have my sincere sympathy.

We are not yet able to completely accept that Flonet's gone. Such a loss. We have wonderful memories of shared times from the past few years.

Flonet and I grew up together in Sawyerville, Illinois and then went to the U of Illinois. She was a very thoughtful person with great wit and I am sorry for her loss.I will always remember her and the fund times we had growing up in that small berg. With heartfelt sympathy to her husband, daughters and grandchildren from my parents, Jack and Gen Anderson, as well as my Husband, Peter and Myself.

Renard, Renee, and family:
I was really shocked to hear the news of Flo's passing. I will not be in town so that I can convey my condolences in person, but know that you are in my thoughts.
I hope that with the passage of time, your tears will fade. It may not seem like it now, but some day soon a smile will cross your face every time you think of Flo and remember all of the wonderful things you and she shared.
May you find peace in the Native American saying:
"There is no death. Only a change of worlds."
Although Flo and I weren't close in the traditional sense, she really did touch my heart. She will truly be missed.

Flonet was a wonderful friend - wry, funny, kind, unique - and a wonderful writer. I was fortunate to know her in both of these roles. She will be missed more than any words can say.
