Hi Florence, glad you had such a great trip...!

Miki, Julie, and Ray,
My sincere condolences to you all on the passing of Florence. We met Miki and Julie in about '69 in Minchumina running around the airstrip, then enjoyed having you all living up the road from us in Fairbanks for many years. Florence was a wonderful neighbor, always making time for a ski around our "2-mile trail" or a "constant comment" tea break in one of our homes. I loved hearing her flying stories.

Miki, Julie and Ray - my condolences. Your family is so legendary in our family. I think my mom lived vicariously through your mom. My mom still talks of Alaska.

John Immel and I enjoyed our weekly visits to your mom and many other Pioneers. She was a joy to be with and we pulled a few stories out of her from time to time. She was modest so it was most interesting to read here about all her adventures and accomplishments. We will miss her greatly! Janie Davidson Feist
