My brother, Dennis, has just let me know the very sad news. I too first met Auntie Florence when she stayed with my mother and father in the 1960's, I was surprised and delighted when having invited her to my wedding 16 years ago Auntie Florence arrived all the way from Canada. I will miss her even though we only met a few times, she was a lovely lady and made a great impression on me. My husband, John, and I send our condolences to all her family.

We have only just heard the sad news. Florence was my auntie a sister of my father Charles. I met her for the first time in the 1960s and then again about 14 years ago when she came over to England and stayed with my mother Megan. My condolences and sympathy to all her family, she was a lovely and very lively person, she was adored by our children.

Only met my Auntie Florence once, a lovely lady. Will always regret I never had the chance to see her again on her last visit to UK. Will forever be in our hearts and thoughts. Deepest condolences to all her family from nephew, David, Sue and family xxx

Treasured memories of our dear Auntie Florence. "We would have loved you to live forever, but God knew you were weary, the hill was hard to climb so he put his arms around you and whispered 'Peace be thine'. Forever in our thoughts, Jean, Gerry and the family x x x x

We have so many good memories of Florence. Playing cards where she got you so confused that she would win. So much fun. If you weren't looking at her when she was talking, she would put her face right in your face to make sure you heard every word. So many good visits. She was like a Mother to me. Love you dearly Florence. Will miss you always. Rest in Peace my friend.
