Dear Rudie family~ Florence was one of my favorite people while working/volunteering at St Therese in New Hope. I loved spending time with her and singing songs. Boy could she harmonize!! Every time I hear the song Edelweiss from the Sound of Music I will think of our duets. Even though I only knew her for a short time I will never forget her. I am so sorry for your loss but I hope it gives you strength to know the impact that she made on those she came in contact with. Hugs to all of you~

I remember Mrs. Rudie as very welcoming and kind when I would come to their house to visit Kathy. She created a home where learning, creativity and a sense of humor and joy were valued.

Our heartfelt condolences...we am sure she is finally resting peacefully. She was my godmother and she always made sure she sent me a birthday card and let me know she was there. I have fond memories of her growing up and all the great times at the house in Minnesota. Rest in peace Florence!

She once said her life did not begin until she had us kids. She was a great mother!

Here' Florence on her wedding day. She was pretty in a shy sort of way.
