Florence Speary Obituary
She was married to Walter J. Speary, who preceded her in death in 1984. Born in Bronx, NY, Florence was the daughter of the late Adam F. and Florence J. (Bayer) Rice. She was a devoted member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Emmaus and found joy in needlepoint and crafting. She embraced life with a lighthearted spirit, often sharing her motto: "Life is short, eat dessert first."
Florence's memory will be cherished by those who knew her.
Surviving is her son Robert Speary and his wife Jean. Daughter: Patricia Hafemann and her companion Joseph Houston. Grandchildren: Brian Speary and his wife Jackie, Keri wife of James Papa, Jonathan Speary and his wife Kristin, Steven Kiss and his wife Lauren, Brenden Hafemann and his wife Danielle and 12 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00AM on Saturday March 15, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church 11 Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
