Florence Wozny Obituary
Flo was an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic community. She shared her many talents as a volunteer in Outreach and Social ministries for many years
A celebration of her life will be held at a memorial mass on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic community chapel located at 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston, Texas 77070. Internment service will follow at 1: 15 PM at the Houston VA National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, November 21 from 5-8 PM at the American Heritage Funeral Home located at 10710 Veterans Memorial, Houston, Texas 77038. www.americanheritagefuneralhome.com
In lieu of customary remembrances, donations can be made in Florence Wozny's memory to Prince of Peace Catholic community at 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston, Texas 77070. www.pophouston.org.

Flo was my neighbor and very dear friend. She taught me so much & always saw the best in every situation. She stood by me through tears & laughter. I am a better person for having known her. Love you Flo & miss you.

My sister Flo brought so many happy memories in my life. She left me with a hollow felling that will last for ever. I will never be able to forget her.

Flo was my mom/s first friend in Houston when we moved here 23 years ago. They have remained close. On Sundays, the "card spielers" as we called them would congregate for the afternoon. There would be coffee and cake. They all looked forward to these get-togethers. A little over a year ago when my Mom moved to the Terrace at Champions, she was not happy about the move. We didn't realize that Flo and Joe had moved there. Miraculously Flo showed up and my Mom....grinning...told us we could go home because she was happy now.

My Aunt Flo will be greatly missed. I always said that I want to be as youthful in my old age as she was in hers. She really knew how to embrace life and i admired that about her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wozny families as they go through this time of grief.
