Florence Zimmerman

I always looked for Florence at Publix and would get in her line (even if it was the longest line) so I could talk with her. She was such a warm, welcoming woman and always brought a smile to my face. My son adored her too. She will be missed by many, many people.

Though I didn't know Florence for very long, I will never forget her. She always came out from behind the register at Publix to hug me and ask about my mother every time I shopped. I will never shop there again without thinking about her. She was a sweet and kind lady with a gentleness about her that is rare these days. I feel as if the earth has lost an angel. Rest in peace dear friend. Those of us who were fortunate enough to know you will miss you terribly. You were so loved by everyone. My sincere condolences to the Zimmerman family.

I was so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. I went to school with her at Forest Park and we graduated together from there. It has been so many years since I have seen her, but I remember her beautiful smile and the twinkle that was always in her eye. May God bless all of your family and help to ease the pain of your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Ashley and Traci, we share your grief in the sudden loss of your dear mother, Florence. She was a very special person whom we loved very much. She cared for Dave as long as she was able and now they are reunited in Heaven for eternity. Florence was such a sweet and gentle lady. A real pleasure to know and be around. She was always quick with a smile and a sassy comeback. My heart goes out to her family and her dear friends. I will miss her.
