Well it's been a year now since I got that dreaded call telling me that I would never get to talk to you again. It's been a tough year doing things without the cornerstone of the family being there but as Ethan has said on many occasions Papa is all around us. Well I hope you're enjoying the sunrises at the cottage cause if your any where I know that's where you'd be. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you and wish you were still among us. Missing you now and always.

1 year ago today was the worst day of my life. You still make me smile, and I still feel your love. Love you always. XO

Not a day will ever go by that my mind doesn't go to those Friday's nights at the cottage having a beer on the deck and watching the sunset at our favourite place in the whole world! I thank you for the meme rips you have given me and i know I will never stop missing you!

I am writing this today with a very heavy heart.. Flo, for as long as I can remember you have been a huge part of my life, and life in the Gennuso household. There has always been a funny story or memory to be told every time you and Tracy were around. You have been my dad's very bestfriend for over twenty years now, and it has been such a pleasure growing up knowing someone like you. You had the ability to light up any room with your smile and warm demeanour. You always knew how to crack a joke and make everyone around you happy. I am so glad I had a chance to see you one last time, and feel the love that was in that room with you. Even when things were so hard you found a way to keep your spirits up. You are so deeply loved by so many and it is no surprise, you truly are a wonderful person who will be forever missed. I know that your stories and memories with my mom and dad will live on forever. because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

I am so glad that our family had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Flo. He welcomed us with open arms and that smile that I will never forget. Take comfort in the wonderful memories that you have.
