Forrest believed in my ability to do more in life and in business than I did and consequently inspired me to achieve more. He would always refer to me as his "brother from another mother."

I met Duffy at his house in Plantation at a planning meeting for the UWPIAA. He was always the planner with long term goals for our organization.

I have always known Forest Bledsoe as Uncle Duffy. To me as a child he was the debonair jet setting uncle who popped in for exciting visits. His visits were fun and funny. My heart and sympathy is with Katie, Chris and Andrew.
So, you asked for a dad joke and my husband who loves jokes as well found one. Hope this one is appropriate.

Shocked and oh so saddened on hearing of Duffy´s passing. Met up with him when he was a part of the Doc and Helene Zukof clan. Yes he was always full of bad puns that we all laughed together about. Our sincere sympathy and prayers to Jan, Katie, Chris and Andrew, his grandchildren and all those affected by this sudden loss.

I never had a chance to meet Duffy in person, but had the opportunity to talk over the phone a couple of times. He was the closest I had to a relative on my father's side. Sincerest condolences to his family.

I met Duffy when we were both 16 and heading out on the road with Up With People. I have an early memory of Duffy, which is when his Dad, when our Up with People bus was going from Sacramento to my hometown of Santa Rosa, and he decided to lead the big bus on what was supposed to be a short-cut but was actually through scary windy mountain roads above Napa.... we arrived quite late as I recall! Certainly more recently it has been a pleasure to see him at reunions and I think a few times on our 69B zoom calls. I will miss him.
