My condolences to the family.
Forrest was pivotal in my early life where I was an employee at his store. I felt like family to him and his family. He was a fantastic person. He groomed me in retail which helped me so much as when I left and moved back to Santa Fe in 1984 to open my own retail store

Forrest was a student in my class at SFSU in 1989. My class met when the October 1989 earthquake took place. I recall Forrest, as a mature student, was a voice of calm. May his memory be a blessing.
