Fr. Jim what a great man. Always had time to listen to you. You will be missed, but now you are at peace and can enjoy yourself in heaven. Hope we can all meet again someday. Love you Janet and Ron

He was the most caring, loving man . He brought so many young people into the church. He made you feel like the most important when he was talking to him. The kids at Our Lady Of Guadalupe loved him so much. He taught them so much and they listened to very word he said. He was a saint.

I met Father Dugal through my parents, Mary and Oscar Carlin when he was pastor at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Montezuma, OH. He presided over my dad's funeral and made the service so very special and memorable. I can remember to this day some of the things he said about our dad and that was 20 years ago. Mom lived sixteen years longer and she loved Father Dugal. He had such a way with everyone he met, making them feel so blessed and special. Sometimes I attended Mass with my mom ( I live in Indiana) and I, too, felt a strong fondness for Fr. Dugal. When our mom was ill, he was such an comfort and inspiration for her and for our family. Even though he had retired and was not in good health when our mom passed in 2019, he agreed to do her funeral Mass. Again, he gave her a final good bye like no one else could. He will certainly be missed, but he definitely has earned and deserves his place with our Lord, our blessed mother and all the angels and saints in heaven. May he rest in peace.
