Dear Mr. Quig and children,
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your wife and my condolences are extended to your wonderful children, many of whom studied piano with my mother Daisy Peterson Sweeney. I remember with fondness our visit to your home with the big skylight and the greenery all around the open space and all that your family believed in.
May God bring comfort and peace to you and the children and may your friends be near to comfort all of you during this time for grief.
My deepest symptathies

James, its been a long time since we have seen each other. Mom (in Richmond) told me of your wife's passing. My thoughts are with you from Yellowknife, where I have been since 1972. I assume you no longer have the Grist Mill. I try to visit Danville & Richmond (mom is at Wales Home now) every year. Take care.

Googled your name out of the blue today. Saddened to learn about the loss of your wife. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as is Mom's (now 91). Remember babysitting in Montreal West.
