Me and "Grandma"

My heart is heavy, yet I am so glad that Grandma is at peace with no more pain/ suffering! I had the honor and privilege to care for her 10 years and enjoyed being in her presence alone! I have cared for many people, but never as long as with her and the bond that we had was unbreakable! It was not work for me, it was going to be with Grandma everyday and I enjoyed everyday we were together! She was there with me encouraging me when my father, step-mother and sister passed away and had a heart of gold and would give you the clothes off her back! But would also speak her mind, so “Sassy” as a nickname was very appropriate! I will always love and miss you Grandma and it’s a place in my heart that is broken into a million pieces but each day that I think of our good memories together, another piece will mend! Continue to rest in eternal peace and I will see you again one day! I love you soooo much and I know that you knew it while I cared for you cause we had our own unique quirky things we did and said everyday and we said i love you everyday and genuinely meant it! You had a beautiful life here on earth and people who loved you dearly, including me. So take rest and enjoy living your perfect life in the presence of Jesus Christ in heaven for eternity!
