Frances A. Amodio 1916 - 2010 SOUTH HADLEY - Frances A. (Duchnowicz) Amodio, 94, of South Hadley, MA died Sunday (May 30, 2010) at Bidwell Care Center, Manchester. Born in Springfield, MA on February 11, 1916, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Latna) Duchnowicz, she had lived in East Hartford for many years before moving to South Hadley twenty years ago. She leaves her son, Francis J. "Frank" Amodio and his wife, Barbara of Bolton, two grandchildren, Jessica Brahaney Cain and her husband Daylian Cain of Hamden, CT and Kyle Brahaney of Monterrey, CA and a great grandson, Kieron Cain. She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Ann Amodio. Her family will receive friends, Friday from 6-7 p.m., at the Ladd, Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road, Vernon followed by a service at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:30 am, at St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield, MA. Memorial donations are for her daughter, Linda A. Amodio, be made to Susan G. Komen for a Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX, 75244.
