Dear Franny,
I will always remember your kindness and love towards all of the dogs that we "saved" during our childhood days in West Virginia. You were so loved and appreciated by all of your friends in West Virginia as well as in high school at Boca Ciega when we moved to Florida. You were a wonderful mother to Matt and Heather. I have been able to meet your granddaughter, Ellie, and I know that she can feel your love. Mary and I miss you so much as you were the best sister and friend that we could ever imagine. May you always know how much you are missed.

Franny,
Not a day goes by without my thoughts turning to you. You are so loved and missed. You were always there for me as I was your younger sister. Words can't express the loss that I feel. I've been able to meet your beautiful granddaughter, Ellie. She is so precious. May you always know how much your kind and generous ways were appreciated. Thank you for being you.

A friend of mine e-mailed me today and told me about Fran's passing. I am so sorry. Fran and I were in Bernina Club together. She made my granddaughter a romper with her name on it and a pretty little blue dress. I always enjoyed talking to Fran. She loved her family and her doggies.

Somehow I missed Fran's obituary in the Tallahassee Democrat last week. Saw the picture today in the "Under the Oaks" of Fran and Ron in Russia with the notation that she had lost her battle with lung cancer on Veteran's Day. I was her friend at Bernina Club where she will be missed. She always had such nice children's clothes to show us. But more than that she was such a caring, friendly person to all of us. Ron you were truly blessed as you know to have had a very respected and loved wife. Most important that she knew the Lord and is dwelling with Him now. Only the Lord can comfort us at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It was great to have had the great opportunity to see both of you at the 50th reunion. sincerely Kathryn Armes Dinkins

Ron, Matt and Heather:
Fran's surprising illness and quick passing breaks my heart, so I can only imagine how it has impacted you. Lean on your family and friends during this time of transition. And may faith, hope and love abide with you in the days to come.

I have such fond memories of our years growing up as next door neighbors along the Cheat River in WV.....Bullet was Fran's first dog, if I remember correctly. She was a wonderful person and was loved by many. Rest in peace, Cousin Fran.
