An amazing man died Sunday September 24 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Inez and Carlo Carlozzi and Brother Connie Carlozzi and Sisters Angie Rosati, Rose Gowell and Carmella Johnson. He leaves behind a beloved wife of 58 years Peggy and Sister Antonette Solomini of 92 years and seven loving children, Constance Carlozzi, Cheryl Carlozzi of Hanover, Ma. Carl Francis Carlozzi of Dedham, Ma., Lisa Deschler and Julie Carlozzi of Venice Florida, Christina Carlozzi of Los Angeles, Ca. and Cindy Carlozzi of Abington, Ma. and 5 adoring grand children Tristan, Juliet, Santina, Taylor and Dominic and nieces and nephews.
Francis graduated from Braintree H.S. He owned and operated Gowells Jewelry in Abington, Ma. for 35 years. He retired to Venice, Fl. and was dedicated to the Italian American club for over 20 years.
While we mourn Francis' passing, we also celebrate his life.
The Tidewell Hospice team made this transition so peaceful for my husband and my family at home. I cannot thank them enough. Heaven has gained another angel.
Memorial Service is at 9am on Monday, October 2nd at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Pembroke, Ma. 02359
