Frances "Fran" M. Morrissette

Frances "Fran" M. Morrissette, 78, of Manchester passed away on August 20, 2017, at Elliot Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manchester on March 22, 1939, she was the daughter of Henry and Ellen (Shea) Pariseau. Fran was educated in Manchester, a graduate of St. Joseph High School, and a lifelong resident of the city. She married Eugene B. Morrissette on January 20, 1962, and they raised their four children in Manchester. She worked all throughout her lifetime, most recently at the NH Lottery Office in Concord. She retired from a job she loved in 2007. Fran enjoyed watching sports, mostly New England sports teams. She was a beautiful woman both inside and out and was very family oriented. Her family was her passion. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. Fran was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Eugene B. Morrissette in 1997. Family includes her daughter, Linda J. Morrissette of Manchester; three sons, Gene B. Morrissette and wife Anna of Manchester, Mark D. Morrissette and wife Jane Young of Auburn, and Michael F. Morrissette and significant other Donna Sylvester of Hooksett; one granddaughter, Kali J. Morrissette of Manchester; three sisters, Barbara Tremblay of Manchester, Margaret "Peggy" Filipowicz and husband Marc of Deerfield, and Marian Gosselin and husband Ken of Manchester; two brothers, Henry Pariseau of Concord, and James Pariseau and wife Valeta of Washington; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by her grandson Tommy Morrissette in 2014; and four brothers, Wilfred, Gerald, Richard and Robert Pariseau. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, August 24, 2017 in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 207 Hemlock St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
