What a wonderfully loving, strong and beautiful woman. She will be greatly missed. I will always remember her welcoming smile and and her infectious laugh. She was always laughing and joking around except for those times when she was yelling at Johnny. I can still picture her standing at the sink in the kitchen back on Carlisle Street as she innocently peppered Johnny and me with questions. And us, unknowingly giving the answers that would all but confess the mischief we were into or about to get into. Then she would flash that smile of hers that let you know that she knew. She always knew. She was always smiling and she always knew. We never stood a chance. I'll always remember that smile. My deepest sympathies go out to the entire Gleason Family for the loss of such a special lady. Her smile lives on in each of you. May she rest in peace. I love you Momma Gleason.

Dear Gleason family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We are so glad we met your mom at Jim and Michelle's wedding and had a chance to talk with her. Though we did not know her well, we know she must have been a wonderful person because we know you, Jim. We know what a deep grief it is to lose a parent at any age and pray for you all.

Dear Gleason Family,
Your mother was such a cherished friend of my mother, Inez McCoy Plunkett, since their days at Mt Mercy College in the 1940s. She was such a strength and a friend to my mom in her final days (and throughout all those years in between). We al are blessed to have known Fran. May you cherish her memory and the legacy she has given to you.
Blessings to you all,
Anne Plunkett Holland

We will miss Fran Gleason. She was a bright light in our book club -- a mentor, a loving "den mother" to us. Warm, uncomplaining and interested in life around her, she was a beautiful woman. With deepest sympathies to all her family, Ann
