"What shall we say in response to this? God is for us!" Romans 8:31
I shall remember Fran and our visits together at her home in Il Sorrento park. She always talked about family and friends, and we shared God's Word and Sacrament together. May the Lord be with all of Fran's family and friends and bless them with the joy and hope of victory and salvation in Christ!

Fran was a very special lady. I knew her for many years both as a church member and a resident in the mobile home park in Moreno Valley. She was fun to be with and loved life to the fullest. Best of all, she was a devout Christian and her faith was un-movable. Condolences to the entire family - I know she will be missed. Valerie Burrowes

It is true, Fran was special with such a gentle spirit. My childhood memories in Hawthorne are filled with pleasant images of the Goetz family. Our "Leave It To Beaver" days. I remember your mom had a nurse friend with the last name of Ahern. She was the sister of Sister Dorthy Marie Ahern, my sixth grade teacher at St. Joseph. Our love and prayers go out to you guys until we meet again with the saints in Glory.

To all those who loved Fran,
You all know what a truly special person Fran was. She lived a good life and knew what it was to love and be loved. She enjoyed nature and fed wild birds, she puttered in her "putter patch garden", she cooked good food, cared for others, raised wonderful children, adored her grandchildren and leaves us all with special memories of her and the times we shared. She will forever be in our hearts and one day we will see her again, and that will be beautiful.

O Lord, support us all the day long, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. And then, in thy mercy grant us a safe lodging and a holy rest, and peace at the end. Amen.

Johnny and I loved your mom, your dad, and Melinda was like a sister. Fran was such a fun, thoughtful and loving person. She gave the most lovely dinners which we enjoyed when we visited your parents and Melinda in Moreno Valley. She was a person you wanted to be around as her attitude for the love of Jesus shined through and blessed others. We all feel blessed to have had her in our lives. I often told Johnny after my mother passed that I had another mother in California as she was so supportive.

May you all experience God's love now as he enfolds you in a loving embrace giving you peace. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Frank & Family - I'm very sorry you lost your mother. My parents were both her age when we lost them a few years ago. It was nice to see the photos you posted here. I especially like the ones with you kids in them - I really like seeing Melinda. It's so great to see you and your family in the old neighborhood. I wish you all the best during this difficult time.

Frank, Rob & Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We know she is resting in the Everlasting Arms of our Lord and has been reunited with your Dad and Melinda. We now have another saint to cheer us on as we run our race (Heb.12). She was (is) a very special lady whose kindness will never be forgotten. I have many fond memories of her, your dad, and Melinda from our childhood and life on 123rd Place. Thank God for the neighborhood nurse! I remember on a couple of occasions she and my mom were wearing one of those crazy hats that they made and wore to those “hat parties” at St. Joseph's; in fact, here is a great photo of her wearing one! I'm sure they will have a lot to catch up on!
Please be assured of our prayers during this difficult time. And if there is anything you need, or that we can do for you, please let us know.
May God's grace, mercy, and peace sustain you,
Tim & Sarita O'Malley
