Nanny... you have been an inspiration to us. Your love and Devotion to our family will not go unrecognized. Your 108.5 years of Angelic living will be passed on through our current and future generations.

Our sympathys go out to you and your family on the passing of Auntie Frances. I'v only met Auntie Frances a few times but that was enough for me to realize that Auntie Frances was a caring, loving and peaceful person. Frances cared for her friends and family very much. May she rest in peace.

Im very sorry for your loss. I had only met Nanny once and thought she was a remarkable lady.Nanny will be sadly missed by all of her family but we all know that she lived life to the fullest.

Nanny was A BIG part of our family's lives and we will miss her very much. I am so sorry I can't be there, but my thoughts and prayers are with Nanny's extended family.

My grandmother was one of the greatest ladies of all time. Throughout her 108 years she made sure that you knew how special you were to her. She is sadly missed and will be forever. I love you Nan. God rest your soul as I know the angels are singing with you.

Our beloved Nan....That spirit that never gave up, that twinkle in her eye, that fabulous sense of humour, that love of family...

Our hero is gone but wow, what a legacy she left us all. Nan placed her stamp of approval on five generations of us who will keep the legend of Nan going eternally.

We love you Nan, we celebrate your life, but we miss you terribly!

Very sorry for your loss, Mrs. Kaleka was our neighbour. We loved her beautiful garden & my kids always looked forward to popcorn balls from her at Halloween.

I MOURN THE PASSING OF FRANCES KALEKA ONE OF CANADA'S AND SASKATCHEWAN'S OLDEST RESIDENTS. AT 108 SHE HAD LIVED IN THREE CENTURIES 1800'S,1900'S AND 2000'S AND WAS A TRUE FRIEND TO ME AND MY FAMILY ON MY TRIPS THROUGH SASKATOON. THE PEOPLE OF SASKATCHEWAN SHOULD PAY TRIBUTE TO A WONDERFUL WOMEN AND TRUE SASKATCHEWAN PIONEER. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE IN HER BELOVED SASKATCHEWAN.

Please accept my sincerest sympathy and know that I too will miss Nanny. I am greatful to have known her and to have just had a visit with her early this past week. As a teenager, I fondly remember being welcomed into her home to share in her wonderful cooking.
When I think of Nanny now and in days to come, I will smile warmly in remembrance.

You don,t know us but I an Ernies kid brother. We did live in the Kaleka house in Saskatoon befor Joe retired. It,s been a plesure over the years to hear bits of info obout ypire mom,sounded like she had a good life

We were so fortunate to have such a warm wonderful great and great great grandmother in our lives for so long.

Nanny was well known for always having food for anyone who stepped across her threshold and we will all miss her and her perogies very much.

Although we are all grieving our loss, we know that she is being welcomed with open arms by her many family and friends who have passed before her.

We will miss you, Nanny. Love forever,
