Don and family,
Sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. I remember what a great host your Mother was when a group of us played pool at your house during our junior high days. Harriet fondly remembers your Mom coming into The Side Door to buy pretty paper napkins and peanut brittle. Take Care.

I am 47 years old and Mrs. Klesa was my first grade teacher at Woodland. She was very kind to me, I had some troubles as I was a bit too young for first grade.
I have always said that she was my favorite teacher. She sent a long list of suggestions home for the summer to help parents continue the child's learning skills. One suggestion was to say "Let's look it up!", when the child asked questions. My mother and I would go to the World Book encyclopias often to do just that. Thanks to Mrs. Klesa!
I'm sorry for your loss, she was special. God bless Mrs. Klesa and all of you.

As long as I live I will remember Mrs. Klesa-- especially her work with teen girls through our church and through scouting! We always wanted to tell her everything because we felt she understood. She gave me confidence by her encouragement and much joy by her creativity and by her delight in the people and things around her.
