I will always remember your Mom. She was a second mother to all of us kids on Monmouth Ave. I am grateful for the many happy times we spent talking and laughing. Francie was Spring Lake's own reigning Queen. Thank's for everything, Mrs. Meehan. May you rest in peace.

Dear Meehan Family,
From the day I met Soldier during the summer of 1968 I knew there was something special about my first friend in Spring Lake. Then I found out he was one of (10) Well let the good times roll !
When I met Mrs. Meehan she said ' Oh ! your from Jersey City ! '
She was such a funny, active, incredibly nice lady. The Meehan Family has always been very special to me and the 'Short Family ' When Mr. Meehan left it was like they took the Monmouth Hotel down again, now that Mrs. Meehan has passed they can drain the lake. No, Spring Lake lives on, but it will never be quite the same.
Our sincere condolences to all the Meehan Family with love and very fond memories.
Your Friends,
Bob 'Shorty' & Henriette Short

Under a summer moon, on a front porch above, Francie, Ben & "the" Justice Byrne are in need of a 4th: capable of keeping pace with the play, the politics and the puns. It's going to be a long wait...

The first bridge game in which I ever played... the first bridge director I ever knew... the roots of my now-favorite pastime are with Francie. She loved the game, loved her friends and loved life! Nobody could tell a story like Francie, that's for sure.
We will miss you deeply, dear Francie. Heaven's in stitches now listening to your stories!
Thank you, Meehan family, for sharing her with us all. My prayers are with you all.
