So sorry to hear about Miss Frannys passing. I always enjoyed talking with her - whether as a member of her Brownie Troop back in the 60s or visiting with her at the Braddock Pool. She will be greatly missed!

The Delaplaine and Randall Families have been an integral family with the Offutt Family. We grew up on Dill Avenue and knew the relationship with Hood College. While carrying newspapers for them as a youngster to being with George Delaplaine and the Soap Box Derby; we knew the work that they did for the community. The last two centuarys , they were inseparable in their charitys and civic responsibilitys. Frances from her youth to the end of her life; worked in Frederick many times in the background. My parents liked the family and shared their endeavors ! May she rest in Peace !

What an amazing woman Franny was! I was so sad to hear of her death, and send condolences to her entire family. Her generosity and influence in and around Frederick County will be felt for many, many years to come. Her "stamp" will forever be on Hood's music department. I feel certain my husband Noel met her on the other side, serenading her with her favorite piano music. And as my daughter Marie said to me, " I'm sure Dad [Noel] has already tracked her down so they can fundraise for better clouds in the sky..."! What a force she was, in the most positive, inspiring ways. What a tremendous loss to us all.

Billy, Ruthy, DeeDee and families--
I was so sad to read of the passing of your mother. Such a dynamic lady--she was such an outstanding role model for all the young women she mentored in Girl Scouts. I was always impressed that she was a chemistry major in an era when most women didn't go to college, let alone into science. Her love for Frederick, both past and present, was unparalleled. I feel so fortunate to have known her. I hope you find comfort in knowing that she touched so many people in a positive way and you draw strength from your family, friends and memories.
Love--
Anne and Lee Zumbach

Mrs. Randall was such a large part of my youth through the Girl Scouts. I was one of her girls she took to Wyoming. I will always remember her as a strong woman that could tackle any obstacle. I enjoyed a close friendship with her daughter Deedee and remember fondly visiting her at the family home in Braddock Heights. Condolences to the family and I am sure Mrs. Randall is enjoying a reunion with family and some of her girls that went before her in Heaven. I am sure there is a campfire burning and songs being sung. Rest Well.
