Schaper, Frances I. age 94, of Sauk Rapids, formerly of the Mpls. area, passed away Dec. 14, 2007. Frances was born Jan. 11, 1913 in Mpls. to Frederick and Nora (Sheehan) Cussler. She married Harold O. Heiber and together they had three children. She later married W. H. (Herb) Schaper and assisted him with his business, Schaper Mfg. Co. Frances is listed in the Who's Who of American Business Women. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Anthony) Dady and Nancy Gottfried; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and her brother, Frederick Cussler. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herb in 1980; sisters, Marion Hammerschmidt and Margaret Pelletier; son, Robert Heiber, and grandson, Anthony Heiber. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 11am at the Church of St. Mary of the Lake, 105 North Forestview Lane, Plymouth. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 4-8 pm, at Gearty- Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th and W. Broadway and 1 hour before the Mass at the church. Memorials preferred to donor's choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Ridgeview Place Assisted Living and Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice. Gearty-Delmore 763-537-4511

Thank you, Nan, for calling me about Franny. As you know, I have so many happy memories of the time we spent with Franny and Herb. You were lucky to have her for so long. I know you will miss her so very much.
