Frances Gayle Stevenson

1943 - 2016

LILLIAN – Frances Gayle Stevenson, age 73, of Lillian, Ala., formerly from Tuscaloosa, died July 13, 2016, at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Donnie Dickens officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Adams and Margaret Adams.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Stevenson; daughters, Amy Smith (David) and Beth Harris (Johnny); sons, Scott Campbell (Karrie) and Scott Stevenson (Christy); sister, Amy Farmer (Jack); brothers, David Adams (Jane) and Randy Adams (Jean); grandchildren, T. J. Yancey (Gabby), Nicole Seals (Jon), Ethan Robinson, Dillon Robinson, Madison Stevenson, Emma Stevenson and Kayley Stevenson; great-grandchild, Willow Stevenson; and nieces and nephews.
Frances grew up in Tuscaloosa, worked as a LPN and worked for the Tuscaloosa library driving the bookmobile.
After retirement, she moved to Lillian, Ala. She loved the beach, garage sales, thrift stores and her animals.
She loved everyone, her family and church family. She is now an angel in heaven.
Pallbearers will be T. J. Yancey, Dillon Robinson, Ethan Robinson, Devin Early, Logan Baker and David Adams, Jr.
