Frank was a great mentor to me at the USDA in Portland. He had a great love for life and people in general. I enjoyed listening to his stories of his WWII experience and skiing/hunting. I am saddened to learn of his passing.

Spending a childhood growing up with the Belmont family, I feel a deep sense of loss. I'm glad my mother got to see him one last time. I can still see Frank and Dad laughing at us kids during our foray into the world and I'm sure they still are. Our deepest condolences for the entire family,

I heard many good things and a lot of athletic prowess from my Mother and her freinds. He was part of the early morning crew at Cascade Athletic Club and still worked out daily at age 92 and impressed many people. The World will be a lesser place without him, we need more men like him.

Frank came into our life in 1981 and became our Dad in 1982. We feel so blessed to have been given a father that showed us unconditional love, support, caring and especially giving of his time, in whatever we needed help with. Dad never uttered the word "no", when it came to helping others! How he made time for all his children, is beyond belief, but he did!
My last fondest memory, is just a few months ago at Mt. Angel Oktoberfest, he said to me," Honey, I don't think I'm going to be able to dance with you this year." When the music started, he grabbed my hand and we were off to the dance floor. After 4 dances, including the chicken dance, he said, "I did it!Now Lets Go Eat!"

I got to know Frank at the gym (Cascade club) He was an inspiration to many because of his workout ethic and friendly manner. Learned more about him at his 90th birthday party. What a full life he led, and how proud his family should be of his legacy. I last talked to him on his 93rd birthday when he told me he wasn't driving any more. I enjoyed the snapshot I had of his life and will miss his sense of humor, and his treadmill workouts.

Our family has so many great memories of Frank and the whole Belmont family in the Cherry Park neighborhood that we shared as neighbors. He loved his family and lived a full action packed life. Our condolences to the whole Belmont family from the Herzog family.

I knew him only lately. I loved his smiling face during church greeting. I will miss that hand shake : (.

My husband Paul and I knew Frank through USDA Statistical service and maintained friendship through 50 plus years. I was impressed by Frank's mention of travels and hunting expeditions. Sympathy for Frank's family. I know he was so grateful for the care and love they gave him as he needed more help.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
