My wife, Michelle, worked for Matt for 10 years before we got married and then over 8 more when we moved back from St Louis. He was a great man and friend.

I was saddened to see the passing of Dr. Graves. He was such a wonderful person and Veterinarian. He took such wonderful care of my animals when I lived in Madison County.

Matt was a great person, vet and next door neighbor. He was always bringing us fish he had caught in his pond. Matt was also our family vet for Simon our cat and Dave's dog Bingo. We enjoyed our visits at his house in the evenings and sitting out on the front porch. He will be missed.

I wish Covid hadn't hit when it did, so I could have visited Matt more often. I enjoyed the one time I did at Dogwood and it was wonderful spending time with him.

Will miss seeing "Doc" Graves in the community. He was our Vet for so many years. I remember him as a very straight forward but compassionate man. Lifting up prayer for all of his family.

So sorry to hear this. He took such good care of our animals over the years, many times even on weekends or after hours as I had one dog with many issues. We lived just around the corner from his home on Hebron Valley. Always enjoyed our conversations and learning from him as well. There will be many animals at the rainbow bridge celebrating his arrival. Much sympathy to the family.
