Francis H. "Pete" Hunt

Pete was a gentleman to all employees at the Lab he came in contact with. May his soul rest in peace. My condolesences to the entire family.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Pete's passing. He was a true friend and loyal supporter during my time as First Selectman. Pete's love of his family and his community is reflected in the exceptional service he gave to East Lyme. He inspired me with his great knowledge of American history and geneology. Thank you, Pete, for sharing a life well lived with us. Good-by, friend.

He had so many important facts in his head, and he could tell you so many things, A virtual font of knowledge, a wry sense of humor and just a nice, compassionate man. He will be missed, our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Don and Athena Cone
