Bill, Kaye and Lucy - Dutch was such a big part of my life - always checking in, keeping me amused with saucy jokes and family history. I hope he can finally resolve his search for Bernard! Unfortunately, that is one story of which we will never know the end. He will be missed forever!

Bill:
I was saddened to see that your father passed away after a long happy life. Your family always welcomed "the boys" over to the house and your dad always brightened our day with his stories. And I thought only a few of us knew him as "Uncle Dutch". My prayers are out to you and your family.

Bill, The world is a much less interesting place without your dad. No one could tell a story like Uncle Dutch - his wit and encyclopedic knowledge was what I could listen to for hours. His genuine concern for all of us was what I loved most about him. All of the saints in heaven are drinking tea after a round of golf!

Bill - I will mourn the death of your father and my uncle, but more importantly, I will celebrate his life. His obituary says it all - his passion were the people he cherished to be with, and it is our deep loss that we can't cherish time with him anymore. He had a genuine interest in everyone's life, and always kept in touch, even though we were a thousand miles away from each other. He smile and his sense of humor were infectious, and I can't think of a better quality to have. He was top notch, and I will miss him dearly
