Our prayers and thoughts are with the O'Donnell family. Frankie and his teammates still provide fine memories from St. A's. Nick Chapman '59 Green Cove Springs, Fl.

I remember Frankie and his nephew John. I worked with him in the mid 80's at the driving range and the batting cages and snack bar. Frankie to me was a wonderful person. He always had a smile on his face. He was a good person to listen to and to talk to at all times and he was good to everybody. He was a wonderful person. He'll be in my prayers and thoughts forever.

Frank: My thoughts go back to my Junior year at Bishop Bradley High School when you were my Civics teacher. You always taught a lively and interesting class and you were one of the most liked teachers there. Your abilities as a player and a coach were completely obvious even to a novice basketball fan.
You will be truly missed by all who knew you. Rest in peace.

Frankie, you were always a man of kindeness and compassion. I devloped my golf game while hitting practice balls at your "Bedford Golfland" for many years. You will be missed, you were a "good man" Frankie. My love and thoughts to your family---Johnny Schuder

Please accept my condolences over Frank's passing. I was a dishwasher at the Lamplighter for a couple of years back in the early 70's. Frank always asked how school was going, pushed me to be successful in athletics and school and in short was a great guy to work for. In later years, he always remembered me when I'd stop by Bedford Golfland. Thanks for everything Frank.

Extending my condolences to the O'Donnell Family. Frankie was a great guy. He treated us all well at Frankies during our college years. He was a good friend to my Uncle Al Roy.

Frank was often called the greatest little playmaker in NE. He was one of the major reasons that St. A's basketball games were so well attended.
As a person, I can tell you he went out of his way to get to know the names of all of his classmates at the school and treated them with respect, underclassmen included. He was the most unassuming person I knew. We will miss you and my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

On behalf of the military and civilian men and women who served at the New Boston Satellite Tracking Station and Grenier Field, let me express our condolences and thanks to Frankie, his Family, and those who worked at the Lamplighter.

For those of us who served there in the late 60’s, at the height of the Vietnam Conflict, there were few places in the Manchester area where military uniforms were truly welcome. Frankie, however, gave us a place where we could get off the hill and enjoy the best hot pastrami sandwiches and the coldest adult beverages that most of us had ever tasted.

We were fortunate to have the Lamplighter as our “second home” – and even now, over 40 years later – among those of us who have stayed in contact, there are always fond shared memories of Frankie and his hospitality.

God Bless you and your Family, Frankie – we’ll meet again some day!

An absolute prince of a man. I often recall the time Frankie, Abe Collamore and Pat McCarthy appeared in in my mother's kitchen one day to seek her permission to take me to the St. Anselm's basketball game at the Bishop Bradley gym where the team played during those years. I used to frequent St. A's practice gym as a youngster and will always remember the kindness Frankie showed towards me. He was truly a special person.

Fortunate enough to have seen him many times in his heydays at St. A's I can testify that Frankie was one great basketball player, and also that he was an even better person. Bill McCarthy St. A's 1958

Sincere Condolences

Deepest sympathies to Ann, children Mary, Karen, Dan, spouses and grandchildren. I feel lucky to have met Frankie in recent years and witness his love of family and sports. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Frankie had all the traits of the beloved "Irish". Devoted to family and friends, humor that wouldn't quit, compassion and a gentleman. I remember him well from the late 70's to the mid 80's.
