We miss you Frankie

Frankie, Words can not begin to express how much I miss you already. Although many families have their own special bonds and traditions we were for sure one of those families that liked to "push that envelope" when ever we got together... and quite frankly I wouldn't trade that for anything. I will miss our weekly calls together. Eventhough we may not have had much new to talk about everytime, it was always a part of the week that made me feel good. You always asked about how your "pal" Diane was feeling or how Dan and Tom were doing with work and you never once passed up on a chance to share a story about what you and Nancy were doing that week or more importantly what Scar and Mav did that made you smile. The sense of pride you had for how Gary and Ann Marie and Chris were prospering with their own lives was nothing less then pure love. I know none of us were perfect spouses and parents all the time and I'm positive we could have done better, but It was obvious family was extremely important to you, although sometimes we all had funny ways of showing it.
Our epic Pike Parties will never be the same without you...but rest assured, just like with Pop there is always chocolate in the candy dish, there will always be a Grey Goose to the side for you Brother Frank!
I hope your resting well my brother give mommy and daddy a hug from us all.
I Love you, and until we meet again.
Your baby brother John

I met Frankie when I was just 15 years old. We were fast friends all these years. He was a great mentor to my son, his nephew. One of the last times we chatted, we were discussing people whom we both knew, then he got teary eyed saying, "they're all gone". He really loved his family and friends. I'll surely miss him. I know he is in heaven, visiting family and probably trying to meet all the famous Yankee players! lol Enjoy Heaven Frankie

I love you my second dad. I'll always remember all the great times our families had over the years, especially our Wildwood days. You will be deeply missed, but forever in my heart. May you rest in peace.
All my love and prayers are with the family. Love you all.
