Francis T. Schwitzer

The Bunn family and the Schwitzer family have known and admired each other for several generations in the Town of Hartwick. Mom Schwitzer was the Hartwick school cook when I was a student there and Fran and Herb were excellent role models (solid citizens as well as great athletes) for us younger guys growing up behind them. Even today, one of my clients still gets "all worked up" when he talks about playing basketball against Fran in the early 1950s. I always enjoyed talking with Fran at the HHS Alumni Banquet each summer and will miss seeing him. My sympathy to Deanna and children and to Herb - Fran was a great guy!
