He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Esperanza V. Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife Maricela, they were married for 17 years and had two wonderful children, Francisco Enrique and Gloria Avigail Rodriguez; siblings, Jose V. Rodriguez (Lani), Consuelo R. Robles (Rafa) and many family members.
Frank attended Saint Mary’s Catholic school, Christ the King and graduated from Holy Cross class of 82. After high school, Frank was awarded a scholarship to play football for Tarkio College in Tarkio Missouri. He attended for two years, and returned to San Antonio, where he worked various jobs that he loved. In 1994 Frank surrendered, and gave his life to the Lord.” therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come.“ 2Cor5:17.
Thankful Frank entered a church on the west side of Templo Gloria y Alabanza, where his journey in Christ began. Frank shared the good news of Jesus Christ and what God did in his life. He liked to go to the streets to evangelize to all, enjoyed giving raspas to kids and seeing their joy in learning about the Lord. He attended tent meetings to hear other preachers spread the word of Christ. While evangelizing in the streets, he came across men and women from victory outreach. He felt a calling to help men and women. He was a pastor of a church in Mercedes and Harlingen, Texas from 2006 to 2016. Through Frank’s example, many lives were led to the Lord and rehabilitated. They remained faithful first to the Lord and thankful for Pastor Frank's teachings. In 2016 Pastor Frank establish freedom in Christ's church in Harlingen, Texas. He continued to minister his teachings until he moved to San Antonio Texas in 2019, he faithfully spread the word and shared his ministry here. Frank was a God-fearing man, he loved the Lord he showed this love to everyone. He was an example of a godly husband, father, brother, cousin, and uncle to all. Frank will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
First of all, we want to thank our heavenly father for giving us such a special time with Frank. On September 16, 2022, God needed him more.
We love you, Frank!

Our Dear Brother Frank was a friend to all of us in high school. He carried us into victory and he kept us together in defeat. While our paths differed, we always kept in contact. When Frank was away, we marveled at his preaching sermons and when he returned home, we all were so grateful to reconnect. I pray that his wife and two children will bravely move on.
